Integration with ASP.Net Site

Hi All,
Our organization has the following requirement and was wondering if anyone else has had a similar requirement and a solution.

Site A - Landing Page where user would enter the Uid/Pwd which would be authenticated against a Microsoft AD.

Site B - ASP.Net Web Forms site which provides a set of reports for the user.

Site C - Yellowfin for BI

Requirement is when the user logs into Site A and then clicks a link to Site B or C, they should be automatically logged in Site B or C.

Problem is how do we automatically log the user into the Yellowfin Site.

Regards
Chris
Hi Chris,

Sorry for the delay in responding to this query. We've been doing some forum clean up lately and noticed that this post slipped through the cracks. Our apologies!

If I understand what you are trying to accomplish correctly, I think you could accomplish what you are after using LDAP in conjunction with Yellowfin Single Sign On (SSO) through web services. This would definitely take a bit of developing on your part but it is possible and many customers do it.

Here is another forum post explaining how LDAP SSO works in Yellowfin and should help answer questions you might have:

LDAP Single-Sign-On explained

Also, here is a link to our wiki covering SSO through web services in case you need to reference it:

Single Sign On

Anyway, hopefully this information is helpful. Please let us know if you need further clarification etc.

Kind Regards,

Dustin
