DNASTREAM has experience across a wide range of technologies and a strong track record in delivering workforce management solutions. The partnership will see DNASTREAM offer Yellowfin’s BI solutions to its current and future clients in the UK.
DNASTREAM Managing Director, Andy Milner, said that the decision to partner with Yellowfin was the result of customer demand for a BI solution that was easier to use and maintain.
“Customer feedback was telling us that most current BI solutions in the market were too expensive and time-consuming to maintain,” said Milner. “Our customers needed access to BI that was easier to use, manage and to extract greater value from over the lifetime of their deployment.
“We evaluated a number of vendors. Ultimately, we partnered with Yellowfin for a few fundamental reasons: Yellowfin’s channel-oriented approach to the market meant they understood the support we needed to be a successful Yellowfin reseller. During our evaluation process, Yellowfin was the fastest enterprise-ready BI solution to deploy, enabling our clients to gain near immediate value. As a single integrated and 100 percent Web-based solution, Yellowfin is extremely scalable and easy to deploy on premise or in the cloud – choice of deployment was a critical factor for our clients. Lastly, we spoke to existing Yellowfin users, and the feedback was simply excellent.”
DNASTREAM Senior Technical Consultant, Steve Dobson, echoed Milner’s sentiments, stating that Yellowfin’s ease of deployment was particularly impressive.
“Yellowfin is a full enterprise BI platform, offering outstanding dashboards, data analysis and data visualisation capabilities, in conjunction with leading location analytics, Mobile BI and Collaborative BI features,” said Dobson. “But, crucially, clients can still get set-up in just a few hours and start getting results and benefits straightaway. I haven’t found that with any other enterprise BI solution.”
Yellowfin Managing Director for EMEA, Peter Baxter, said DNASTREAM’s status in the UK’s enterprise software market would ensure a successful partnership.
“DNASTREAM has an outstanding reputation for listening carefully to the needs of its clients and delivering projects and software solutions that produce both fast and long lasting value,” said Baxter. “It’s this customer first approach that will help underpin Yellowfin’s continued success in the UK.”
“There is a definite sense of excitement in DNASTREAM about Yellowfin – it’s a product that really helps ‘complete the picture’ for our customers,” added Milner. “Yellowfin have been very supportive and their approach is refreshing. We are looking forward to a very positive relationship.”
